"What you do speaks louder
than what you say."
Biddy basketball is open to all children that reside in the Peotone School District in grades 2nd-8th.
The exception are the 7th and 8th grade boys that are on the junior high basketball team.
All teams are co-ed and divided into 3 groups:
This is a recreational program and it is required that all children must play during the games. Referees and scorekeepers are often former Biddy players and current high school students. The goal is to build a sense of community as well as to further the development of the players' skills and sportsmanship.
Biddy basketball encourages the development of our youth by providing opportunities for athletic and personal growth. We seek to provide a safe, healthy, positive environment for the youth of our community to demonstrate sportsmanship and the development of life skills. Furthermore, we wish to provide youth players the opportunity to learn the fundamental skills of basketball.
Registration is now open for the 2024-2025 season. This year we will have teams from the 2nd-8th grades. The only exception are the 7th and 8th grade boys that are on the junior high basketball team. Registration will be open until November 22nd. No registrations will be accepted after that date as we will be drafting teams.
If you have registered and not paid yet, please pay via check or cash. Check should be written to Peotone Biddy Basketball and mailed to P.O. Box 594, Peotone, IL 60468 or delivered to a board member.
Every year Biddy runs a camp that is part of the overall Biddy experience. This allows the kids to get used to the facilities, work on a few skills, and generally make it a smooth transition to Biddy. The coaches will also be watching the camp to help them with the draft for their teams. This is included in the cost when you signed up for Biddy.
The location for the camp will be the Connor Shaw Center.
Camp Date TBD
The times for the camp will be:
There is no camp for 2nd and 3rd graders.
Parents are welcome to stay in the stands to watch.
This year Biddy Basketball is instituting a $25 concession stand fee that is added to the cost of the family registration.
